One form, no trackers, and a font request to Google.

THE FORM — the contact page asks for a name, an email address, a subject chosen from a short list and a message. Those four things are used to answer the message and for nothing else. They are not added to a mailing list, not sold and not shared with any hotel named on this site.

HOW LONG — a message is kept while it is being dealt with and for a short period afterwards, in case the exchange continues. If a message leads to a correction on the site, a note of the correction is kept without the sender’s address attached.

NO MEASUREMENT — there is no analytics package on this site, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no third-party script and no cookie set by these pages. Nothing here builds a profile of a reader, because nothing here records one.

FONTS — the two typefaces are requested from Google Fonts, which means the browser makes a request to a Google server to fetch them. That request carries the information any web request carries, including an IP address, and it is handled under Google’s own terms rather than these. It is the only external request the site makes.

HOSTING — the server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary access logs, as any web server does. Those logs are used to keep the site running and are not combined with anything sent through the form.

ASKING ABOUT YOUR DATA — to ask what is held after a message, or to have it deleted, use the contact form from the same address the message came from. Requests are answered within about ten working days.
